A-League – Riley McGree (Adelaide United)

As per @lewieatlarge, #ALeague Riley McGree (misconduct) likely not to miss any A-League games from possible Olyroos ban

All four players were omitted from the Olyroos squad currently in China on a three-game tour, and it’s understood coach Gary van Egmond has been told to prepare for January’s AFC U-23 Championship without them in mind.

It’s unclear whether any bans would encompass the A-League also, though one high-ranking club official was adamant that would not be the case.

What they’ve done is unclear, but it sounds relatively serious.

Importantly from a Fantasy A-League perspective, its good to know he likely won’t miss any A-League games.

A ban from the Olyroos games would also mean he would not miss any Adelaide United fixtures which is also a positive for fantasy owners.

McGree has been amazing this year, averaging a league high 15.6 points per game.

The other three players involved in this are Melbourne Citys Lachlan Wales & Nathaniel Atkinson and Perth Glorys Brandon Wilson.

None of those three carry huge Fantasy A-League value.
