Pearce, who up until recently has had no official timeline for his return after undergoing follow-up surgery on his left ankle, was joined in the main group by veteran David Mundy (leg) and rebounding defender Nathan Wilson (toe).

The trio, who have all trained in a separate group since before Christmas, were given a round of applause by teammates before the session started at the club’s Cockburn base.

The Dockers said on Wednesday afternoon they expected all three to push for senior selection by round four or five.

Mundy has been so consistent in AFL Fantasy in the last five years never waivering from the 80 range.

It must be noted he only just scraped into an AFL Fantasy average of 80 in the 2019 Season.

Factor in another year older and this injury, it would look to spell a season of a mid 70’s average forward.

If you’re a contending AFL Fantasy Keeper League team, its worth it to put the feelers out to see how an ageing and injured forward is valued.
