Jesse Hogan (personal) remains a chance to return in Round 2 #AFLFantasy
“He’s a chance, there’s still a few boxes to tick,” Longmuir said.
“He had only done 10 minutes of match sim at this stage and I’m sure he’ll be putting his hands up for selection.
“It’s been really positive so far.
“He’ll continue to progress in his preparation for the season and if that lands him at round two, we’ll make that decision when it needs to be made.”
The 25 year old Fremantle forward has been out indefinitely whilst dealing with mental health issues, so its welcome news for everyone in the AFL to see Jesse doing better and returning to the club.
AFL Fantasy wise, Hogan is a valuable forward capable of averaging close to 90 as he almost did in the 2018 AFL season.
His mental health battle will of course be ongoing so look at him as a high upside gamble if you own him in AFL Fantasy Keeper Leagues.
I would temper expectations in redraft leagues
