As per @GeelongCats, #AFL Youngster Jordan Clark (elbow) targeting a February return to full training
Clark’s rehab has been progressing steadily and it won’t be long until he returns to full training.
“(My) elbow’s coming along pretty well, I’ve got most of my movement back.
“We’re still looking at about two months from being full contact.
“Obviously being pre-season there’s no real rush to get back as there’s no games for just over three months, so the docs and the physio’s and myself have been working pretty hard over the last couple of weeks, but like I said there’s no rush to force things yet.”
Clark is recovering from a tendon injury after landing awkwardly on his elbow in training in late 2019.
Clark managed 18 AFL games in 2019 and finished with an AFL Fantasy average of 63.
He’ll be looking to progress that into the late 70s this year.
Jordan Clark is a fringe back option in AFL Fantasy redraft leagues depending on matchups and form and is most likely to be found on waivers.
Clark holds pretty good AFL Keeper League value as a defender and should be held onto while he develops over the next two years.
