AFL – Nat Fyfe (Fremantle Dockers)

As per @freodockers, #AFL Star Nat Fyfe (shoulder) will resume full training in January

The 28-year-old is being managed leading up to the Christmas break, and will resume full contact drills in the New Year.

“I’m just starting my contact progression now,” Fyfe said.

“I had a posterior shoulder reconstruction, I’m in week 13 of a 14-week rehab, but the plan will be to progress leading into Christmas and be back into full contact drills post-Christmas.

The fact that the reigning Brownlow Medallist has been able to clear up the nagging shoulder injury and still be back in time to participate in 2020 Pre-Season is great news for the star.

Fyfe has long been described as one of the best players in the game, but AFL Fantasy coaches be weary that his scoring doesn’t always correlate.

Fyfe averaged 105 AFL Fantasy points in his Brownlow Medal winning 2019 season so be careful not to overdraft him in season only leagues.

Fyfe should be a second round re-draft target.
