Will you play Alessandro?

Here is a list of news you need to know before you press submit to your lineup this week:

Bye Week.

Melbourne Victory, Perth Glory, Sydney FC

Injuries.

Matt Simon (Central Coast Mariners)

Simon has been listed as having an ‘injury’. Way to go Mariners.

Ryan Strain (Adelaide United)

Stained hamstring for Ryan who will miss the game against Central Coast Mariners. We could see some Mirko Boland.

Ryan Kitto (Adelaide United)

Kitto is also out this week for Adelaide United.

James Troisi (Adelaide United)

Troisi is still out with that troublesome hamstring. Look for alot of Halloran, McGree and Mileusnic this week against the Mariners.

Scott McDonald (Brisbane Roar)

Getting the amazing honour of being the first player to be left out of 2 seperate A-League squads in one season, he’s either being rested or he’s not that good.

Possibly both.

Tim Payne (Wellington Phoenix)

Payne has been suspended for 1 week.

Ben Kantarovski (Newcastle Jets)

Kantarovski will be out with a quad strain for 6-8 weeks but he holds very little Fantasy A-League value

Robbie Kruse (Melbourne Victory)

Huge blow for Victory with Kruse suffering an injury on his other hamstring. 6-8 weeks for Robbie should probably see his season ended unfortunately.

Load up on Rojas.

Storm Roux (Melbourne Victory)

Victory don’t play this week but its worth noting Roux is also out for 3-4 weeks.

Returns.

Scott Neville (Brisbane Roar)

Neville returns from his one week suspension and will go straight back into the Brisbane starting lineup.

George Blackwood (Adelaide United)

Blackwood is always on either the returning or the injured list, this time he’s returning.

Hes a risky Fantasy A-League play but worth playing in Draftstars as he should be relavtively low owned.

Jordan Murray (Central Coast Mariners)

Murray will return and likely take Matt Simons spot up front.

Alessandro Diamanti (Western United)

The most important player in their team, Diamanti is back in the squad this week but still remains questionable as to whether he’ll actually play. If he doesn’t Max Burgess will look to get a big boost.

Glen Moss (Newcastle Jets)

Mossy is back after 4 weeks from an 8 week injury, which leads me to beleive theres a chance its just to sit on the bench.

Connor Metcalfe (Melbourne City)

The talented youngster was a late scratch before the Melbourne Derby last week and was replaced by Florin Bereneguer who added an assists and a goal. So its no guarentee Metcalfe returns straight into the starting lineup.

Dean Bouzanis (Melbourne City)

Bouzanis was out for personal reasons leaving Tom Glover to have a nervy 90 minutes in goal. Glover has the better future but it wouldn’t surprise if the more experienced GK came back in.

Captains Choice

Ben Halloran (Adelaide United)

The Adelaide winger has been on fire lately and they come up against a very nice home fixture against the struggling Mariners.

Add in the fact they’re without Strain, Kitto, Troisi, Konstandopoulos and Toure; Halloran will be asked to be involved in everything.

Riley McGree comes with the same upside too.

My Team.
